Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif App 2023 Launched:
‘Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif App is launched by Dr. Sania Nishtar. She is a special assistant of the prime minister and works on poverty elevation and social protection. She is enrolling a girl student at Kot Hathial Govt College at the international day of Education during the commemoration.
International Day of Education:
24th January is the international day of education. This day is observed globally every year. Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif app has been developed specifically for poor people. This app has been developed to enable children from the ‘Ehsaas program. This is necessary for the eligible households at their doorsteps. This app is beneficial for poor students to continue their studies. Poor students get their Wazaif by using this app. Firstly they will download this app and then use it.
Dr. Sania and the International Day of Education:
A program has been set up at the international day of education and Dr. Sania has been invited to this program. She enrolled herself as a girl in the school stipends event in 2023. During the event, she sat with the students, teachers, and parents and she guided them about digital enrollment through this app. She guided them about the benefits of the ‘ehsaas taleemi wazaif’ app and tells them about the use of this app. She guided me through the process of digital enrollment through this launched android app.
Education Access of the Poorest Families:
Education act as the ladder for poor people to end poverty and make a path to prosperity. Therefore ‘Ehsaas’ program is launched for poor people to enroll their children in education. This program is focusing on the education of poor students and improves their education access through its school stipend program. This app is facilitating poor families to self-enroll their children at their doorsteps.
Next Three Years and the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif:
Ehsaas taleemi wazaif are given to the 6.7 million students of Pakistan. But in the next three years, this wazaif will be given to the 10 million poor students for their studies and these children fold from the 160 districts of Pakistan. The main purpose of this program is to access education and increase the no of school children of poor families. It also assists vulnerable households. According to this policy, a large amount of wazaif is given to the girls than the boys to maintain their studies. There are 18.7 million children who are not going to school in Pakistan due to poverty. This wazaif are given from the primary level students to the higher secondary level students. the age which is required for the wazaif from 4-22 years. These children must be eligible from the ehsaas community for the wazaif.
Education Access by these Wazaif:
The ehsaas program encourages parents to send their children to school. Due to this program, the education level is increasing in Pakistan and the poverty level is decreasing. The payments of the wazaif are linked to the attendance of the school/college students. There is also an ehsaas bonus for the girls who are the students of the graduation. Dr. Sania stated that this bonus will be given to the girls who complete the 5th grade.
